We urge residents to make final preparations in advance of this evenings forecasted storm. This includes being prepared for the possibility of high winds, flooding and power outages.
Town staff are on standby and trucks and equipment are ready to respond if necessary. As always the Town Staff cannot clear any trees or debris from areas with downed wires without Con Edison crews assisting them. We are assured from Con Edison that crews will be available if needed.
We urge residents to continue to treat all downed wires as live wires. Please report downed wires and power outages by contacting Con Edison at 1-800-75CONED.
