What do you know about the Town of Cortlandt Heating Oil Plan, CHOP?

This is an initiative of your Supervisor and Town Board, designed to save you money on the high cost of heating your home this winter. Members of CHOP will be able to purchase oil at a discount, through our bulk purchasing arrangement. The cost will be 30 – 40 cents per gallon above the wholesale cost to our local distributors, averaging approximately 20 cents per gallon less than the homeowner can obtain. This results in a savings for our homeowners.
