Good afternoon, this is the Town of Cortlandt with a winter storm update.
The current forecast for the Town of Cortlandt is 2 to 3 inches of snow starting to fall between mid-night and 6:00 am tomorrow morning. We expect the storm to extend into the early morning hours through noon tomorrow.
The Department of Environmental Services workers and trucks are prepped and ready for the storm event.
As a reminder parking is prohibited along town roads during winter months. If you have an emergency, please call 911. If you experience a loss of power please contact Con Edison at 1-800-75-coned to report your outage.
All sanitation services for Thursday January 20th will remain as scheduled. Notification will be made first thing tomorrow morning if the weather conditions prohibit our sanitation trucks from safely traveling the roads.
