Message from the Supervisor Regarding the Coronavirus

As you know, there has been a man from New Rochelle who has tested positive for the coronavirus. He is currently in a NYC hospital. So the virus is now in our County. Today I was on a Westchester County conference call for all County Supervisors and Mayors to get an updated report.

In the Town of Cortlandt government we are having an intense and thorough cleaning of our town hall and other town facilities (Senior Center, Youth Center etc.) over the next two weekends.  We ask anyone who is sick even with a common cold to please refrain from coming into our buildings. Our offices, of course, will address all of your issues and needs.  We thank you for your cooperation.

At this time, all town programs, events and meetings are proceeding.  If this changes you will be notified through our website, Facebook and Instagram, as well as notices to the public media. Please read all links we post from the County’s Health Department and I recommend you go to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website for more information.

We will continue to provide you with additional information as it becomes available.

Thank you,

Supervisor Linda D. Puglisi
