MCANJ ELECTION RESULTS

 

MCANJ SECRETARY

 

The Municipal Clerks Association of New Jersey held voting for the position of Secretary of MCANJ. Voting was held online and was open for the period April 28 through May 8, 2020.

 

We want to extend our appreciation to our two candidates, Lucy Samuelson (Somers Point) and Joyce Lanier (Orange City). Both Candidates demonstrated their commitment to MCANJ and their candidacy was very much appreciated.

 

A total of 212 votes were cast. I am very pleased to announce that the incoming Secretary for MCANJ is Lucy Samuelson from Somers Point. CONGRATULATIONS LUCY!

 

COMMITTEE CONSOLIDATION

 

MCANJ also posed the following question to the voters:

 

Does the membership agree to consolidate 6 committees into 3 committees or prefer that the committees remain as 6 separate entities?

 

A total of 212 votes were cast and the voters overwhelmingly approved the consolidation of committees.
