Hello Everyone-

The MCANJ Conference Committee is sending out this email as a reminder. If you are interested in attending Camp MCANJ-the annual conference for the Municipal Clerks’ Association being held from April 23-26, 2024 in Atlantic City, you need to register soon!

Attached you will find the program for the conference, a flyer from Rutgers for attendees looking to earn additional CMC/MMC credits, and PO information from the Hard Rock. 

The conference will provide over 20+ CEU’s for RMC and CEU’s have been applied for other licenses as well for those who hold multiple licenses. If you are a Registrar- The Office of Vital Statistics has been super supportive of the Municipal Clerks’ Association conference this year and has approved four sessions for us earning a Municipal Clerk/Registrar 5 credits, yes 5 CMR credits this year, which is amazing!!! If you are tracking credits to put towards earning your CMC or MMC- you will earn over 7 CMC/MMC credits at this conference by attending the full conference and the attached Rutgers Program.

Important things to know:

1. You cannot register for the conference if you have not paid for your MCANJ membership-meaning if you want to get the MCANJ member rate, we need your payment prior to you registering. If you forgot to register or there is a delay with a check getting mailed to us,  it may be advantageous for you to update your membership for 2023/2024 by credit card if you want to take advantage of the early bird discount rate. Otherwise you can register as a non-member for the conference registration.
2. If paying by check for your hotel stay, the Hard Rock needs your check by March 22^nd- see the attached instructions.
3. Do Not Forget- There is a huge State/County/Municipal OEM Conference at the Hard Rock the same week as ours; so do not wait to book a room last minute. The Hard Rock is urging both conferences to have attendees book rooms as early as possible to secure one.
4. Below is the breakdown of rates/days of conference being offered.

Last Day to Register is April 7, 2024!  Payments must be received on or before March 22, 2024.

New this year, to go with our theme, we are having special attire days if you want to participate. Wednesday, "Dress up your plaid", Thursday, "County Spirit Day", and Friday, "Camp hair - don't care. It's your last day of the conference, it's Friday, throw your favorite hat on and go!"
