It gives Mendham Borough Recreation great pleasure to announce the residents of 108 Mountainside Avenue in the Borough as the 2021 recipient of the Recreation’s Holiday Home Decorating Contest.  

 This award is given annually to the home that had the best “curb appeal” as judged by the members of the Mendham Borough Recreation Committee.  

 Committee members scoured the Borough from December 10-12 and selected over a dozen of the top homes, and from that group, the display at 108 Mountainside Avenue was decided as the clear-cut winner.  

 Judging criteria included a unique design, creative use of lights and decorations, a storyline or theme, display and placement of decorations, animated objects, and overall presentation of home and landscape. 

 The family at 108 Mountainside Avenue will receive a $100 gift certificate from the Mendham Business Association. The owners of the winning home have decided to donate the prize to the Randolph Regional Animal Shelter.  

 The MBA has co-sponsored the event every year with Mendham Borough Recreation, and we look forward to the 2022 Holiday Home Decorating Contest next December, as well as our upcoming Valentine’s Day and St Patrick’s Day Home Decorating Contests in February and March 2022.
