Free Admission to State Parks, Forests and Recreation Areas

Entry to all of New Jersey’s state parks, forests and recreation areas this summer will be free of charge, Governor Murphy and Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Shawn M. LaTourette announced.

Park entrance fees will be waived for all visitors arriving by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or passenger car. Anyone who already purchased a 2022 annual State Park Pass will be receiving a full refund.

Other individual park fees remain in place, including but not limited to camping, entry to historic buildings, interpretive programs and mobile sport fishing permits.
