Although tomorrow is Election Day, many of you have already voted. If you choose to vote in person on election day, be aware that unless you have a disability, you must vote by paper provisional ballot. Only persons with disabilities will be allowed to vote using an ADA-accessible voting machine.
By now, though, you should have received a ballot in the mail with a return postage-paid envelope. If you have not voted yet, you still have time, and options!
* You can choose to mail in your Vote-By-Mail ballot. If you do mail your ballot, it must be sent in via USPS, postmarked by tomorrow - Tuesday, November 3rd, and received by the Morris County Clerk no later than 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 10th.
* You can drop your Vote-By-Mail ballot at one of the secure drop boxes <https://elections.morriscountynj.gov/ways-to-vote/#boxes> throughout Morris County. The closest drop box for Mendham Township residents is at the Mendham Borough Police Station, 3 Cold Hill Road South. This drop box is outside and under surveillance 24/7. The drop box resembles a USPS Blue Mailbox, but is Red, White & Blue and displays "Morris County - Official Ballot Drop Box". The drop boxes will be closed at 8:00pm tomorrow - Tuesday, November 3rd.
* You may also return your Vote-By-Mail ballot to Mendham Township's polling place at the Brookside Emergency Services Building tomorrow between the hours of 6:00am and 8:00pm.
* The Morris County Clerk's Office will be open from 6:00am - 8:00pm for in-person voting to accommodate voters that may have experienced a problem with their ballot and require a duplicate. All voters on line by 8:00pm will be accommodated.
* No matter which method you use to drop off your Vote-By-Mail ballot, it must be in the sealed envelope provided and the signed voter certification must be attached.
After you drop off your ballot, you can track its status by signing up for a My Voter Record account, here: https://www.state.nj.us/state/elections/vote-track-my-ballot.shtml.
For more information, please visit the Morris County Elections Center<https://elections.morriscountynj.gov/>. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at the Township as well at (973) 543-4555 ext. 211.
