Weather Related Updates for Mendham Township:
* Old Orchard Road is currently closed due to a tree being down across the roadway and
being on primary power lines. JCPL has been notified and hoping to have the road cleared
soon.
* Garbage collection routes are running on a delay due to the weather. We will keep you
updated if/as anything changes.
*Schools are on a 2 hour delay.
* Winds are expected to pick up throughout the day with increased chances of trees coming
down & power loss.
* Rain is expected to taper off by this evening.
* If you need assistance with a pump out of your home, please contact our Fire Department
for assistance; they can be reached at 973 543 2581 and press 0 and speak with our
dispatcher.
Please be prepared for power loss and do not drive around closed road signs or
cones/barricades. We will continue to monitor our flood prone areas and provide updates as
needed.
