Meadowood Evening Hike, Sunday, September 20, 6:15 pm

Perfect autumn weather has arrived! Grab your sweatshirt or sweater and get ready to explore the grounds of Meadowood, right here in Mendham Township. On September 20, 2020, 6:15 pm, there will be much to celebrate - the arrival of fall and an International Day of Peace.  A seasoned hiker and local naturalist will guide residents through the trails at Meadowood, explaining the historic use of the property, helping identify plant species, and pointing out animal signs.  After the hike, stay for a bonfire, campfire songs, s’mores, and social distancing fun! As part of the registration fee, you will receive a box of graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate. This is in addition to a branded Mendham Township Recreation blanket. Directions: Route 24 heading west;  shortly after passing over the bridge crossing Burnett Brook, turn right onto Old Mill Road; drive 1.2 miles. The park entrance is on the left side of the road.
