Auto theft and burglary continue to be persistent in the Mendham area. Law enforcement is asking residents to remain vigilant and to report any
suspicious activities to the local police. Together, we can proactively discourage car thieves by taking a few simple steps to ensure that vehicles and homes remain safe and secure.
By 9:00 pm, Everyday:
- Lock your vehicle doors and be sure that your remote garage door opener is out of view.
- Take your key and/or key fob out of the vehicle.
- Report any suspicious activity or person.
- Neighbors should watch out for neighbors. Call your neighbor to remind them of the 9:00 pm Lock Up Routine.
- Call 911 to report crimes in progress.
