Mendham Township: Carry In, Carry Out Policy

Some of Mendham Township's recreational facilities (hiking trails, parks, playgrounds and fields) do not have garbage or recycling bins.  When you visit, you will need to take your garbage and recyclables home with you.

The parks and trails belong to all of us and we need to care for them and keep them clean.  Removal of the garbage and recycling containers eliminates the mess that they create, while also keeping our recreation areas safe for the humans that visit them and the wildlife that inhabit them.

Kindly leave the trails better than you found them.
