Meadowood Evening Hike, Saturday, August 15, 7:30 pm
This Saturday, August 15th, Mendham Township's Recreation Department and Environmental
Commission are hosting a night hike and bonfire at Meadowood Park. A seasoned hiker and
local naturalist will guide residents through the trails at Meadowood, explaining the
historic use of the property, helping identify plant species, and pointing out animal
signs. The event starts at 7:30pm, and the hike will commence at 8:00pm. After the hike,
stay for a bonfire, campfire songs, s'mores, and social distancing fun! As part of the
registration fee, you will receive a box of graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate.
This is in addition to a branded Mendham Township Recreation blanket. Register on

Directions: Route 24 heading west; shortly after passing over the bridge crossing Burnett
Brook, turn right onto Old Mill Road; drive 1.2 miles. The park entrance is on the left
side of the road.
