Senior Freeze (Property Tax Reimbursement)
The Senior Freeze Program reimburses eligible senior citizens and disabled persons for

home park site fee<https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/ptr/defin.shtml>
increases on their principal
residence<https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/ptr/defin.shtml> (main home). To
qualify, you must meet all the eligibility
requirements<https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/ptr/eligibility.shtml> for
each year from the base
year<https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/ptr/defin.shtml> through the
application year.

2020 Senior Freeze Applications
The State Budget for FY2022 has been finalized and there were no changes made to the
income limit established in the 2020 eligibility requirements.
NJ State began mailing approved 2020 payments on July 15, 2021.
There is still time to file your application. The deadline to file is November 1, 2021.
