COMMENCEMENT OF WORK

Town of Newburgh Meadow Hill South Sewer Project

The Town of Newburgh’s contractor, TAM Contracting, Inc., will on or about April 30. 2021 commence work on installing a new sewer main in the Town’s existing sewer easement which runs from Route 300 at the northern boundary of the Newburgh Mall property through the parking lot at the northern boundary of the Newburgh Mall across the Meadow Hill entry road to the existing sewer pump station and then to and under the NYS Thruway right of way to the Town’s property on the opposite side.  The project is anticipated to take approximately ninety (90) days.  The project addresses issues involving sewer flows from Meadow Hill, was the subject of a public hearing and has been in the planning, design and approval phase for multiple years.  It is not being undertaken in connection with any new developments or uses at the Newburgh Mall or otherwise.
