PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED

Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Lifted

The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory issued on March 1st 2021, due to disinfection equipment failure, has been lifted.

Residents no longer need to boil water before consumption.

This Boil Water Advisory was issued, as required, by the Orange County Health Department as a precautionary measure until a series of water quality samples

confirmed the water was safe to drink. Two rounds of 15 samples each on consecutive days have all come back with acceptable results and the Orange County Health Department has lifted the advisory.

We apologize for any inconvenience and would like to thank residents of the Town of Newburgh for their cooperation and patience.

Residents having any questions can call the Town of Newburgh Water Supply at
