NOTICE TO BIDDERS FOR SNOW REMOVAL FOR GOOD WILL FIRE DISTRICT

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

  PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that sealed bids will be received by the Board of

Fire Commissioners of the Good Will Fire District in the Town of

Newburgh, Orange County, New York on November 9. 2020 at 7:30

p.m. at the firehouse located at 1 South Plank Road, Newburgh, New

York for snow plowing and ice removal. Specifications may be obtained

from Roseanne B. Smith, Secretary, by calling 845-564-7459.

  Proposals must be sealed in an envelope on which it is clearly stated:

GOOD WILL FIRE DISTRICT SNOW PLOWING PROPOSAL: and shall be

addressed to: Roseanne B. Smith, Secretary, 1 South Plank Road,

Newburgh, New York 12550 and received by her by mail no later than

NOVEMBER 9, 2020 or delivered to her personally at the firehouse

located at 1 South Plank Road, Newburgh, New York 12550 prior to

7:30 pm on November 9, 2020. Bids will be publicly opened and read

on  November 9, 2020 at 7:30 pm at the firehouse located at 1 South

Plank Road, Newburgh, New York 12550.

  The award of bid pursuant to this notice is subject to appropriation

of funds for this purpose in accordance with the applicable provisions

of the General Municipal Law. All bids must meet the requirements of

the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and all other

applicable statutes and have attached a statement of non-collusion.

All documents submitted in connection with this bid will become

property of the Fire District and the Fire District will not return bids

or bid documents. The lowest qualified bidder meeting the

specifications will be awarded the bid. The Board of Fire Commissioners

reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to readvertise for same.
