TAKE NOTICE, that I, Deborah A. Smith, the undersigned Receiver of Taxes, of the Town of Newburgh, County of Orange, State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Newburgh for the year of 2021. I will attend at 1496 Route 300, in the said Town of Newburgh from January 1, 2021 to March 31, 2021 from 8:30 o’clock in the forenoon to 4:30 in the afternoon on each day, excepting Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on the said roll.  The tax office will be open on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9 o’clock in the forenoon to 1 pm. 

     TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before February 1, 2021 without charge of interest.  On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of a one per centum for the first month, (for February 1, 2021 to March 1, 2021) and an additional one per centum for each additional month until paid; All unpaid taxes as of March 10, 2021 will receive a reminder notice and be charged an additional $1.00 in compliance with State Law.

     TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law, the tax roll, of the Town of Newburgh will be returned to the Commissioner of Finance of the County of Orange on the 9th day of April 2021
