NOTICE OF ADOPTION

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 26th day of October, 2020, the Town Board of the 3Town of Newburgh in the County of Orange, State of New York, adopted Local Law No.4 of 2020 entitled  "A Local Law Amending Chapter 104 Entitled ‘Schedule of Fees’ of the Code of the Town of Newburgh: Sewer Rates Effective January 1, 2021” the effect of which is to amend the provisions of the Municipal Code’s Schedule of Fees Chapter so as to provide for modification to the Combined Operation and Maintenance and Facility Charge for the Roseton Hills Sewer District to $140.00 for each residential dwelling unit, whether an apartment or a condominium unit, on each parcel as listed on the latest completed Assessment Roll of the Town per quarter effective January 1, 2021.  All other sewer and water operation and maintenance rates will remain unchanged as of January 1, 2021.

A public hearing on the adoption of this Local Law was held on the 26th day of October, 2020. The Town Board has determined it is in the best interest of the Town to adopt this Local Law.
