[Plainfield tax] 2nd Quarter Reminder

Please be advised that the 2nd quarter is due May 1st with the grace period ending May 10th to avoid interest and penalties. Please note we are accepting payments in the small black mailbox marked Tax Collector's Office on the table inside City hall located on 515 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield, NJ. While we are not able to have visitors, the drop box is available from 8:30 am -5pm, allowing more time for drop off. Please leave a self-addressed stamped envelope if you wish to have a receipt mailed back to you. We are also accepting payments online at www.plainfieldnj.gov<http://www.plainfieldnj.gov>ov>. Please use your account number and last name for payment. If you do not have the account number, you can look it up using the Tax Inquiry option at the top. Please be advised that our online option while free, will only accept payments from checking accounts. Lastly, we will always accept checks and money orders by mail. We understand that times are difficult and have always accepted partial payments towards regular taxes. If you have any questions or concerns please call us at (908) 753-3214.
