[Plainfield tax] 3rd Quarter Billing

Good Morning, As you may have seen, the third quarter billing due August 1st, 2022 has now been determined. Because of the delay, we have extended the grace period for the third quarter normally ending August 10th to September 7th, 2022. Please note if left unpaid after September 7th, interest will accrue from August 1st. The 4th quarter of 2022, due November 1st, 1st quarter of 2023 due February 1st, and 2nd quarter due May 1st, 2023 are also available for review and payment. The grace period for those quarters will still end on the 10th. Please note the payment methods below: Online: www.plainfieldnj.gov<http://www.plainfieldnj.gov> via ACH transfer using a valid checking account free of charge or debit/credit card which will carry a non-refundable 2% fee. Please use your account number and last name for payment and verify all information is correct prior to submission. We cannot waive interest for items returned by the bank. Mail: Please make your checks or money orders* to : City of Plainfield Tax Collector's Office 515 Watchung Avenue, Room 101 Plainfield, NJ 07060 Drop off: Due to health and safety concerns, we ask that you continue to only bring money orders or checks* for payment. The drop box will continue to be available in the lobby for your convenience. In Office: If you wish to come in to the office to bring your check or money order, you may do so as long as you are masked and passed the temperature, and metal detectors. *Please write your account number or block/lot on the memo portion. If you wish to have a receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope for mailing.
