We hope this year finds you well.  You are receiving this message because you have opted in to receive tax alerts.  Please be advised that the 1st  quarter is due by February 10th to avoid interest and penalties.  Please note we are accepting payments in the drop box at City hall located on 515 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield, NJ.  While we are not able to have visitors, the drop box is available from 8:30 am -5pm, allowing more time for drop off.  Please leave a self-addressed stamped envelope if you wish to have a receipt mailed back to you.  We are also accepting payments online at www.plainfieldnj.gov.  Please use your account number and last name for payment.  If you do not have the account number, you can look it up using the Tax Inquiry option at the top. Lastly, we will always accept checks and money orders by mail.   We understand that times are difficult and have always accepted partial payments towards regular taxes.  If you have any questions or concerns please call us at (908) 753-3214.  Thank you for your understanding.  Please stay safe and be well.
