Any payments made after that date will have interest charged from the 1st as per State Statute. Please be aware that our offices follow the City's calendar and will be closed at 12, noon on November 8th Election day. Please go out and vote! It will also be closed on the 11th ,Veteran's day, with a ceremony held at 10:45am for those who wish to honor our servicemen. Please note the other payment options below for your convenience. Online: www.plainfieldnj.gov<http://www.plainfieldnj.gov> via ACH transfer using a valid checking account free of charge or debit/credit card which will carry a non-refundable 2% fee. Please use your account number and last name for payment and verify all information is correct prior to submission. We cannot waive interest for items returned by the bank. The drop box will continue to be available in the lobby for your convenience.
