In response to more than 19,000 electrical outages in Sussex County
following Tropical Storm Isaias, the Sussex County Board of Chosen
Freeholders sent a letter to New Jersey Board of Public Utilities
President Joseph L. Fiordaliso, requesting to mandate that utility
companies create emergency response plans to address widespread
outages.

Construction for the Rehabilitation of Bridge C-18 is ongoing. Removal
of debris and sediment inside the culvert is completed and concrete
repair locations have been identified. Installation of galvanized
dowels and wire mesh at the concrete repair locations is underway.
