GPANJ & NJASBO Virtual Session - Changes to Legal Notice Publication Requirements

The Governmental Purchasing Association of New Jersey (GPANJ), in conjunction with the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials (NJASBO), is offering a virtual session regarding “Changes to Legal Notice Publication Requirements – P.L. 2025, c. 72” on April 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM via Zoom. Presenters: Jason R. Martucci, Esq., Regulatory Affairs Officer Aniyyah Maney, QPA, Procurement Specialist Both presenters are from the Division of Local Government Services in the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs and will prepare attendees to comply with the new requirements. The Municipal Clerks’ Association of New Jersey (MCANJ) is excited to announce a new fundraising opportunity in conjunction with the NCAA March Madness Tournament, made possible through CharityMania. First, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported our recent 10-Week NFL Game Card Fundraiser and Super Bowl Fundraiser. Your participation made those efforts a great success—we are proud to share that more than 30 participants were winners across those two fundraisers! Building on that momentum, we invite you to join us for our March Madness Fundraiser. State Legal Notice Website

Good evening, P.L. 2025, c. 72<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fpub.njleg.state.nj.us%2…> required the Secretary of State (SoS) to create a statewide legal notice webpage and for municipalities to submit their public notice webpages to the SoS and include the link to the SoS’s webpage in their bi-monthly notices. The SoS Statewide Legal Notices webpage is www.nj.gov/state/statewide-legal-notices-list.shtml<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=http%3a%2f%2fwww.nj.gov%2fstate%2fsta…>. Authorized representatives of public entities should have received a personalized myNJ authorization code by email. This code will be used once to link to the Department of State Public Notice. You will need to login into your myNJ account and enter your authorization code to activate the Department of State Public Notice access. You must then log out and log back in. When you log back in, click the SimpliGov tile and open the Public Notice Form to enter your municipality’s information and legal notice URL information. Once the form is completed and submitted, you will receive a confirmation email and/or text message. The municipality’s hyperlink will then appear on the SoS Statewide Legal Notice webpage.
