🏀 MCANJ HoopsMania! Fundraiser 🏀

by mcanj-members＠lists.cit-e.net

The Municipal Clerks’ Association of New Jersey (MCANJ) is excited to announce a new fundraising opportunity in conjunction with the NCAA March Madness Tournament, made possible through CharityMania. First, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported our recent 10-Week NFL Game Card Fundraiser and Super Bowl Fundraiser. Your participation made those efforts a great success—we are proud to share that more than 30 participants were winners across those two fundraisers! Building on that momentum, we invite you to join us for our March Madness Fundraiser. With each ticket purchase, you will receive eight randomly selected seeded teams that you will follow throughout the tournament. As the tournament progresses, your teams earn points based on their performance. When one of your teams is knocked out of the tournament, that team no longer earns points. Winners are determined at the end of the six-week tournament based on the total points accumulated. Use this link<https://www.charitymania.com/give/LG049> to access the site and purchase tickets. Deadline to purchase tickets is 11:59pm on March 19, 2026. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help offset the costs of our upcoming Annual Meeting, which will be held on April 23, 2026, at Mercer Oaks in West Windsor. As an added bonus, every ticket purchase includes a code to download free music, courtesy of CharityMania. Thank you for your continued support of MCANJ and for helping make these fundraisers successful. Your participation helps strengthen our organization and supports the important work of Municipal Clerks throughout New Jersey. Get Outlook for iOS<https://aka.ms/o0ukef>

State Legal Notice Website

by mcanj-members＠lists.cit-e.net

Good evening, P.L. 2025, c. 72<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fpub.njleg.state.nj.us%2…> required the Secretary of State (SoS) to create a statewide legal notice webpage and for municipalities to submit their public notice webpages to the SoS and include the link to the SoS’s webpage in their bi-monthly notices. The SoS Statewide Legal Notices webpage is www.nj.gov/state/statewide-legal-notices-list.shtml<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=http%3a%2f%2fwww.nj.gov%2fstate%2fsta…>. Authorized representatives of public entities should have received a personalized myNJ authorization code by email. This code will be used once to link to the Department of State Public Notice. You will need to login into your myNJ account and enter your authorization code to activate the Department of State Public Notice access. You must then log out and log back in. When you log back in, click the SimpliGov tile and open the Public Notice Form to enter your municipality’s information and legal notice URL information. Once the form is completed and submitted, you will receive a confirmation email and/or text message. The municipality’s hyperlink will then appear on the SoS Statewide Legal Notice webpage. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for the municipality’s webpage to appear on the Statewide Legal Notice page<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fwww.nj.gov%2fstate%2fst…>. For technical assistance or questions about the submission process, please contact the New Jersey Department of State at: DOS.Public-Notice(a)sos.nj.gov<mailto:DOS.Public-Notice@sos.nj.gov> MCANJ Website Manager WebsiteManager(a)MCANJ.US
